Happy Memorial Day to all!

On this day, lets take time out of our barbequing and travels to remember the reason why this day is celebrated. Take a moment to appreciate what the service men and women of this country have done for us. As someone who has a very strong connection to the forces, this day is a lot more than a backyard bbq to me. Its a day of rememberance, honor and a show of courage.

We in America often take our liberties for granted since we never had to suffer for them (at least not this generation), we expect we are entitled to them. But one quick look outside the American bubble shows us how truly privilleged we are in comparism to the rest of the world.

I am proud to be American and i am proud of all the service men and women of this great country.

I take this time out to remember the troops who have died in the ongoing Iraqi war and to wish our comrades who still remain a safe tour and return home.
